Residential & office space

On the site of this former telecommunications centre, a previously closed enclave is being transformed into a lively and publicly accessible area where people can live, work and enjoy their free time.

The project can be divided into four parts: new construction of 62 social rental homes in the North Block, renovation of the office section in the Middle Block, new construction of 158 mid-segment and private sector rental homes in the South Block and an underground parking garage. The design incorporates characteristic features of the Bossche city centre, aligned with the requirements and demands of contemporary construction.

The southern part was designed by renowned architectural firm Bedaux de Brouwer from Goirle.

The entire development bears the name Amadeiro, a reference to Prince Carnival of Oeteldonk, of the same name as ‘s-Hertogenbosch during the Carnival period. Courtyards will be built around the houses, so this part of town will stay consistent with the Bossche courtyard structure of the city centre.
